Suzuki Mehran available at Rs7-13 Lac despite being discontinued

Suzuki Mehran, the 800cc car that first introduced in Pakistan in the 80s, is still a popular choice among many customers despite being discontinued by Pak Suzuki in 2019. The car known for its affordability, fuel efficiency, and low maintenance costs.

Suzuki Mehran has a minimal design and basic features that attracted huge masses. The car has a three-cylinder engine that can deliver 39 hp and 59 Nm of torque. Mehran has a four-speed manual transmission and a front-wheel drive system. The car can reach a top speed of 140 km/h.

Suzuki Mehran was launched at a price of Rs90,000 in the 80s. However selling at Rs7.5 lacs when it stopped in March 2019. The car did not undergo any major changes in its shape and specifications over the years, except for a switch from a carburetor to an electronic fuel injection system in 2013.

In the current economic situation, where car prices are soaring high, Suzuki Mehran is still available at a reasonable price range of Rs7-13 lacs, depending on the model and condition of the car.

Suzuki Mehran has a simple suspension system. It is based on tube shocks with leaf springs at the rear and coil springs at the front. The car has solid disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. It has a wheelbase of 2,175 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm. The car has a fuel tank capacity of 30 L and a boot space of 254 L.
