Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday handed over the possession of his only ancestral house in the Rohtak district to the Baniyani village and urged the administration to convert it into an e-library for children.
Khattar visited his house in the village and recalled the old memories. He told the media that he was born in the same house and has lots of childhood memories of the place. He said he had studied in the same village before moving out.
He said his parents had changed ownership of the house to his name. Khattar said a small area adjacent to his house that belonged to his uncle is also included in the total area donated by him.
