Sanjay Gakhar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sanjay began their career at Britannia Industries Ltd. in 1991 as a Technical Trainee, where they were responsible for quality control and production scheduling. Sanjay then joined NAFED in 1994 as a Manager, overseeing the import, trading, and export of agricultural commodities. During their time there, they played a significant role in coordinating a large-scale price support operation for oilseeds. In 2005, Sanjay transitioned to the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, they focused on achieving business targets, increasing trading volumes, and launching new derivative products. Sanjay's experience showcases their expertise in commodity trading, agricultural procurement, and business development.

Sanjay Gakhar began their education in 1987 at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Agricultural Engineering.
