Acyclovir is available as a topical antiviral medication used for the treatment of cold sores and/or genital herpes symptoms. Duration of treatment most often ranges from 4 to 10 days.

Used for the treatment of oral herpes simplex virus (HSV-1, cold sores) and to relieve symptoms of genital herpes (HSV-2)

Should be started as early as possible at onset of signs and symptoms of cold sore (i.e. tingling, redness, itching or a bump) and/or genital lesions

Applied topically 5 times a day for 4 days for cold sores and dosed 6 times a day for 7 days for genital herpes

Understand this product is for topical use only, avoiding contact with eyes and inside the mouth
Am not pregnant or breastfeeding
Will discontinue use of this product if local sensitivity or irritation occurs
