2013 Piaggio Typhoon 125

The Bad Boy Returns…

Rather than tone it down, we amped it up. The Piaggio Typhoon is quick, tough, easy to use and designed in Italy with a fully automatic 125cc fuel-efficient engine. You’ll bound over city streets and country roads comfortably with new fatter tires, a stronger
tubular steel frame, and a lower seat height. Bring along a passenger or whatever you need for where you’re going. When it’s time to park it, there’s plenty of locking storage for your gear.

2013 Piaggio Typhoon 125 Key Features

Ideal For Cruising around town and short trips.

NEW PIAGGIO TYPHOON

Introducing the new Piaggio Typhoon, the young, practical and fun scooter. Piaggio’s best selling model gets all-new styling and mechanical content, and the classic 50 cc 2-stroke is now joined by a sparkling 125 cc 4-stroke.

Piaggio Typhoon, a genuine scooter icon with over 500,000 examples sold to date, has been completely revised and now appeals to an even broader clientele, with the classic 50 cc 2-stroke engine now joined by a feisty carburettor-fed 125 cc 4-stroke to cater
for all urban communing needs.

A new leg shield design, new lights, new graphics and looks and an all-new choice of engines: the new Piaggio Typhoon is more grown up than before in terms of both looks and style, and is, as always, the perfect choice for anyone looking for a fun, sporty scooter that is also reliable and practical.

The front of the Piaggio Typhoon boasts an all-new design: the distinctive “shark face” of the most youthful model in Piaggio’s line-up is now more imposing and substantial; the wide slits – a trademark of the Piaggio Typhoon – rise and spread out along the sides of
the leg shield to follow the profile of the new headlight, which frames the eyes of the scooter, with their completely new, more aggressive and dynamic design.

The new Piaggio Typhoon looks different at the rear, too: taut, clean lines define a tail that is larger, more defined and sportier than before, while the all-new tapered tail fairing lends a sleekness to the design, as do the passenger grab handles, which extend along
the broader, more comfortable new saddle and visually lighten the entire rear of the scooter.

The new Piaggio Typhoon also comes with a choice of new graphics: stylish and modern to suit the tastes of younger riders, or subtle and elegant for a more mature users.

New looks, new technical solutions. Piaggio Typhoon now boasts a new frame and 12” wheels, to soak up bumps better and for improved stability. Also new is the 2-valve 125 cc engine, with plenty of performance for tackling any traffic conditions with complete confidence.

With a choice of two modern, clean and eager engines, the Typhoon offers different solutions for exhilarating fun even when carving through the daily urban jungle. With an ideal torque curve the 125 cc 4-stroke version of the Typhoon can even take extraurban
dual carriageways safely in its stride. With the exuberant 50 cc 2-stroke engine the Piaggio Typhoon is light and nimble, making it the perfect urban sprinter.

• Modern Piaggio 4-stroke 125cc engine
• 12” alloy wheels for agility and stability – far superior to steel
• Front disc brake
• Underseat storage compartment
• Rugged looks and sporty performance
