Documenting a TB Test in PSS

1.     In the Patient Record, select Data and then New Custom Form…..
The PSS shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + I.

2.     To easily find the form, type “tb” in the search field.
Select Encounter –Mantoux/TB Skin Test and then the Choose This Form button.

3.     The form will appear in the patient’s chart.
Document if it is a one or two step test.
Document which arm the test was performed on by selecting the appropriate boxes.
Select the Finish button to complete the documentation.

4.     The documentation will appear in the patient chart.

When the patient comes to have their TB skin test read, insert a new TB Skin Test custom form.
Document positive or negative findings in the appropriate section.
Select the Finish button.

5.     The patient chart will now be updated.
