After many years, Rockstar has not bothered to make an official port of the legendary game on the PC platform, so today we will launch it on your machines, achieve good performance when playing, make a beautiful launch through Steam itself (so that you can share screenshots with friends and communicate). Let's start enjoying this game without too much headache!

Description:
Installation:
This package includes the Emulator and the GUI for Steam, NOT the game; you will need to have an ISO copy of the game to be able to play. The installation is simple, unpack it wherever you want, for example, for our convenience, I suggest unpacking it in the Steam game library:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
Now put your ISO file into the "game" folder and you are done. The game is launched via the emulator! To do this, open "PPSSPPWindows64" if you have a 64bit PC or "PPSSPPWindows" if you have a 32 bit one.

Description:
If you have problems running the emulator, try installing these libraries.

FAQ
Faced with a certain problem, or just want to know as much information as possible before starting the game? Answers to frequently asked questions are published below:
  1. The game works exclusively in 30 FPS, do not even try to artificially raise the frame rate, it will only add you a bunch of bugs and headaches.
  2. If you are experiencing performance issues, you can lower the values of the following parameters in the emulator settings: Rendering resolution, Upscale level, Anisotropic filtering.
  3. The controls are adapted to modern gamepads, but if you want to change them, or add a keyboard, you can do it in the emulator settings.
  4. You can change the language of the game if you change the corresponding setting in the emulator.
  5. Now let's create a beautiful label with a cover, background and icon on Steam:
    • Steam>Add a Non-Steam Game...>Specify the path to our "PPSSPPWindows64" or "PPSSPPWindows" depending on the bit depth of your system, rename the shortcut and add it to the library.
    • Open the "steam_gui" folder and apply your cover, background, logo and the icon. It should turn out something like in the screenshots:

How can i use my keyboard as controls and which are the best keys?

You need pscx2 nightly and if you want to use mods like the widescreen fix by ThirteenAG use his own pcsx2 fork with plugins. The nightly version i recommend the nightly version. The nightly version is mainly used for texture mods but you can use more than that.

Love it, although, I wish there was a GInput version for the stories.

Why not the PS2 version? The PS2 has more content. I'd say that's the Definitive Version.

I believe the PS2 version is superior. It's not optimised for a low-powered device or a small screen. The only disadvantage is the lack of multiplayer, but I prefer calling the PS2 version the definitive one.

European version has audio issues as far as I know.

One more question, should we use the USA or Europe versions? Just getting my ISO files ready to go.
